Name: Chill
Gender: Female
Age: 27 moons
Terrain: Web of Ice territory (Glacier)
Fur Color: Solid ice-blue, allowing her to look like part of the ice even close up.
Fur Type: Her fur is smooth and silky, and close up reveals itself to be wavy. It is, however, a thick coat and gives her warmth.
Claws: Long, sharp, and transparent, perfect for climbing or walking on the ice.
Eyes: Her eyes are the palest shade of blue, looking, like most of her does, like the ice. Even when opened she still blends in.
Tail: Long, and adorned with ample fur, her tail is the part of her that might give her camouflage away, since it is likely to wag at the least sign of other wolves.
Legs: Her legs are long and limber, as well as agile, perfect for the Glacier.
Ears: Both are average-sized, with a spattering of fur to keep them from getting too cold. They swivel a bit farther than they should be able to, sort of cat-like, which helps her to hear any approaching wolves--or rabbits.
Muzzle: Her muzzle is the stereotypical of the Glacier wolf--long, narrow, slim, good for foraging and probably little else.
Teeth: Her blunt teeth are better put to use on Pernettya berries than prey, but are still strong enough to break the skin in a fight.
Smell: Scent--one thing she excels at. Though she can smell better than most wolves, her range is rather limited and she relies on hearing to take care of far-away things. When the scents do reach her, they are strong and reveal rather more than they should.
Appetite: Chill's appetite is surprisingly small for a wolf her size, able to dine on maybe ten berries or so and have satisfied her hunger.
Hearing: Her hearing is incredibly good, even for a Glacier wolf. She is always aware of what's happening around her, and can hear things farther away than others might. Unfortunately, when her ears grow too cold, her hearing suffers, so it isn't that good during the cold moons.
Voice: Her voice, though musical, is a bit too quiet for comfort. Its lilting tones give the impression of being care-free, though she is nothing of the sort.
Howl: Though a bit quieter than most and unable to be heard at as great a range as others' might be, those who have heard it revel in the musical tones and singing quality of it.
Hunting: Her hunting skills have deteriorated since she hardly ever has a chance to practice them. She would much rather be doing something else--sleeping, for one.
Foraging: She excels at foraging, since whenever she nears a clump of berries, their scent tugs at her and she is more than able to uncover them.
Protecting: Chill's skills (hey, that rhymed) as a guardian are not as good as she might hope. However, when forced, she finds ample ability to protect her packmates.
Patrolling: Chill, if given the opportunity, would probably do an acceptable job at patrolling borders. She, however, would not enjoy the task and would shirk her duties for something more preferable.
Fighting: Her fighting skills concentrate more on agility and speed than all-out battle. Faced with one, she would be able to defend herself and possibly others, but probably would not be able to injure her opponents a great deal.
Climbing: Climbing is one of her strong points, something she has found enjoyable and reveled in, searching for time to practice her favorite skills. It is this love that has led her to discover several routes up the sides of ice crags that don't appear to be there at all.
Jumping: She can jump relatively accurately, but no higher than her own height above the ground. If she has good leverage and can push of strongly, however, she could probably jump a bit farther.
Cubs: She has always wished for cubs of her own, dismissing this as something that would never happen--to her, at least. When faced with them, she enjoys playing games and perhaps teaching them a thing or two.
With Wolves in Higher Rank: Chill always shows proper respect--sometimes more than proper respect--to her betters, though she's not afraid to snub them if they've done something that does not endear them in her eyes.
With Wolves in Lower Ranks: Wolves of lower rank are not even considered to be so by Chill--to her, they are her equals, equal in being lower than the same wolves she herself is lower than, and maybe a few more, but that doesn't matter. Any orders she may have she attempts to form as suggestions that may be refused, though she angers rather quicker with them than she might.
With Kin (family members): She is always respectful of them, and, unlike others, do not need to earn her respect. She would never act out against her kin without solid reason, and makes this fact widely known.
With Loved Ones: Chill is always far too lenient on her loved ones, preventing them from entering danger if she can. Her mate, were she to have one, would always be given her consent and she would be more than reluctant to act against him, finding reasons to be alone with him as well to talk.
With Unknown Wolves: Since unknown wolves are VERY rare in the Glacier, she would be far too easily angered and would bite first, ask questions later unless given a reason not to.
With Friends: She always treats her friends as their rank first, her friends later. After proper respect has been displayed, she throws custom to the winds and relaxes in their company.
Overall: Chill is a content wolf, kind and easy-going. Anger may come quickly and strong, flaring into hatred rather too soon, but can be quelled by reason and truth.
In Free Time: During her free time, Chill enjoys climbing the ice or spending time with her friends. The ever-present lure of sleep is a major component, of course...
During Tasks: Chill most always completes her tasks, but has to be interested in them. She will not do her best on something she feels no need for.
Eating: Chill always shares whatever she finds/catches with others, despite her feelings for them or her hunger. She does feel that she should be able to eat first, though, since she has brought this food into her pack and she believes it her right.
