NOT DONE YET!
The battle section is kind of helpful. Your pack can fight another for territory, or you could just fight another wolf for fun. If you win a battle, there are nice extra 'rewards' that you get. More on those later. First, I'll walk you through creating a battle.
Are you on the Battle board? Good. Create a new thread. Now it's time to choose the kind of battle you want. You will post this as your title. The different types of battle are:
For wolf-on-wolf--
To best move: You each attack using a battle move. You must use your spending points to get these. Multiple moves may be used. The wolf who has used the best move wins. No questions asked.
To danger: You spar off until one wolf is in imminent danger of death. The other wolf wins.
To death: You fight until one wolf dies. The living wolf wins and gets some nice bonuses.
For pack-on-pack--
To threat: When one pack seems able to entirely dominate another (I will determine this), they will win the battle.
To surrender: The Center wolf surrenders when some of their pack has been killed and the pack as a whole seems in danger.
To death: The last pack standing wins it for the remaining alive members of their pack. Gets real messy. Entire packs may be killed off completely (ouch).
Note: Pack members may choose not to participate in these battles since they put their wolf/wolves at risk.
The title of your thread could be something like this: "Pack-on-Pack to Threat" or "Wolf-on-Wolf to Death."
Now, let's talk about those 'rewards' I mentioned earlier.
For wolf-on-wolf--
To best move: Upon winning, you will receive another battle move chosen at random, normally something your spending points will not cover. You will now be able to use this move. Upon losing, the total amount of posts you have will be reduced by 2 times the number of points better the other wolf's move was than yours (confused? Examples below). Since your post amount affects your spending point amount, if they had a really good move, this could be bad.
To danger: Upon winning, you have a choice of either 2 battle moves chosen at random, normally ones that your spending points will not cover, or a +50 stat boost, to be distributed among all of your stats in any way you wish. Upon losing, the total amount of posts you have will be reduced by 2 times the number of health points higher than you the other wolf had upon their win and your stats will get a -10 loss, to be distributed randomly by me.
To death: Upon winning, you will receive 5 battle moves chosen at random, normally ones that your spending points will not cover, and a +100 stat boost that you may distribute among all of your stats in any way you wish. Upon losing, your wolf 'dies.' No, you are not removed from the roleplay, but all of your stats will be reduced to 0, your total number of posts will be reduced to 0, and you will lose all of your battle moves. A note will be displayed, though, that tells members something along the lines of: 'To find actual total number of posts, add (# you lost) to the number displayed below."
